And you want this guy as your next President???
So isn't it interesting that we keep hearing about Sarah Palin's peccadilloes while the major media continues to ignore the George Obama scandal? Here is a guy living in Third World poverty and his half-brother is the leading candidate to become the next president of the United States. Are the networks and major newspapers so exhilarated at the prospect of an African American president that they have become cheerleaders for the Obama campaign? Fortunately the McCain campaign is making the media an issue, and I hope the American people are smart enough to see through the news charade.
Here are the facts about George Obama. He’s in his twenties. He lives in a slum in a hut. He wants to become a mechanic but doesn’t have the money. He reports that he gets by on a dollar a month. He met George Obama in 2006 for a few minutes and said it was like talking to a “total stranger.” He said when people notice he has the same name as Barack Obama, he denies they are related because he is “ashamed.” The Democratic presidential candidate, who made $4 million last year, hasn’t lifted a finger to help his half-brother.

Why does it cost so much to be president?
Now that Hillary is dust (as far as the presidential nomination goes) Obama is licking his chops for her fundraisers. "As Senator Barack Obama claims the Democratic presidential nomination, his campaign is gearing up to recruit many of Senator Hillary Clinton ’s top fund-raisers (NYT)". According to this article that could mean an additional 50 to 75 Million bucks for his campaign. Overall, with Internet donations, corporate donations, help from the Clinton fundraising teams Obama could possibly spend u[p to $500,000,000.00 to get elected. The article says he will outspend McCain 4 to 1 which I suppose leaves McCain spending 125,000,000.00. Folks that's 3/4 Billion dollars spent by two camps that want to be president. THE JOB PAYS $400,000.00 PER YEAR. Admittedly there's a lot of perks involved and if Obama gets elected he is pretty much set for life (which he already is anyway).
Hey, it just hit me. If Obama gets elected at his age he is going to be one big time drag on our budget. Lifelong secret service, medical care, pension, etc. GO McCAIN!!!

The world just got smaller
It seems that there are people who do not want our advice, religious teachings, diseases or way of life. They would just like to be left alone. Unfortunately because of globalization that just can't happen. I find it ablsolutely fascinating that in todays world there are still 100 tribes that have not been "contactced". I'm not quite sure how we know that but that is the word coming from those much smarter than I.

The picture of native Amazonians painted bright red and shooting arrows at an airplane flying overhead is both awe producing and sickening.
Too bad that the industrialized world's need for resources has to include illegal (& legal for that matter) harvesting of the rain forest. I feel that God put that there to act as a huge filter for our planet and we just continue to destroy it.
